According to a report in MotorOctane, the all new Hyundai Grand i10 will be called Grand i10 Prime. Hyundai will launch the all new i10 Prime in India this year. Hyundai uses the Prime on some of its facelifted models, and according to reports, it is this model that will be coming to India as well.
The details for the India-bound Hyundai Grand i10 Prime is sketchy, but the UK-speced i10 has three powertrains – a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder Kappa engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission, a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder Kappa engine available with a 5-speed manual and a four-speed automatic transmission.
The new Grand i10 Prime will come with two new safety technologies, Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) and Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS) forming the Driver Assist Pack.
The new i10 Prime comes with a new 14″ steel wheels and wheel covers, rear spoiler with integrated brake light, electric front windows and remote central locking as standard. with the interior features a new Black cloth interior. with grey dashboard insert. Standard safety features include Electronic Stability Programme, Brake Assist System and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
The new Grand i10 Prime will come with a new cascading grille, redesigned front bumper, updated LED Daytime Running Lights in the front. At the rear, the new Grand i10 Prime is also characterised by an evolved bumper design with a black inlay and round fog lights and refreshed rear lights with a darker housing for a sportier look. Redesigned side mouldings with a new shape and size round off the new i10 Prime’s fresh profile.
The upcoming Grand i10 Prime will be available in six color options- Morning Blue, Polar White, Aqua Sparkling, Iced Coffee, Sleek Sliver and Star Dust.
We expect the Grand i10 Prime to come for a price of Rs 7.61 lakh (ex showroom, New Delhi)- Rs 11.21 lakh (ex showroom, New Delhi).
