German carmaker Mercedes-Benz has confirmed that the 2017 CLA will be launched in India on November 30. The CLA has been a success story for the Stuttgart based carmaker since it was launched in 2014 and now it will become the twelfth launch of the year for Mercedes Benz.
The new car was first shown at the New York International Auto Show earlier in the year and in the design department, it gets few tweaks like the headlamps which have been given the smoked treatment and also get full LED lights. Both the front and rear bumpers have been restyled but overall the new car still retains its iconic shape that mimics the more expensive CLS.
The CLA is assembled at Mercedes Benz’s plant in Chakan and the new car will also be made at the same facility. Powertrains on the new car are expected to be carried over from its predecessor.
The new CLA will compete against the Audi A3, Toyota Camry and Skoda Superb.
