Datsun Go Cross – launch in India
Launching of Datsun Go – Cross
The new concept of the Datsun Go-Cross was unveiled by Datsun, Nissan’s car brand at the 2015 Tokyo motor Show. The new study of the design of the Datsun helps us to get a fair idea of what a compact SUV can actually look like. The launching of the Datsun Go – Cross India will probably take place by the end of 2017 or by the early months of 2018. The 2016 Auto Expo was the first to display the concept of Go- Cross.
Concept and design of the Datsun Go- Cross
The Go+ MPV is what the new Datsun Go- Cross is based on. The gloss black finish of the large hexagonal signature of the Datsun grille is a thing to boast on with the LED headlamps which are extremely stylish. The LED fog light along with the skid plate is the features of the front bumper. It also features the plastic cladding which is also black along with the roof rails. Datsun has efficiently managed to infuse several elements in the design of Go Cross, which look rugged. It is expected by the production spec of Datsun that the features like the skid plates, body cladding larger wheels and LED DRLs will be retained. The manufacturers haven’t yet revealed what the interiors of the car will look like, but it is being estimated that they will definitely borrow it from the present models of Go and Go+. It is not known whether the third row of seats will be allotted.
Specifications of the Datsun Go Cross
As the design is yet under a study, the new Datsun Go Cross is yet to have a motor. Most probably the motor of the Go Cross will be same like Go+, which means the petrol motor will be of 1.2 litres which will be providing the powers to the compact MPV. The plans of Datsun have been quite open to staying away from the diesel engines and hence, the Go Cross production spec will not be receiving and diesel motor. But the diesel motor in Go Cross can actually be a tremendous idea.
