The bike is going to be the first ever 400 cc from the Bajaj group and is expected to be launched by June. The Avenger series is already celebrated as a cruiser and this bike is said to make Avenger look tiny. The price of this bike is expected to be less than 2 lakh rupees, a definitely affordable rate for a cruiser and yet one of the highly awaited bike of 2016.
This is another highly awaited bike of 2016 from the Hero group since the time it was introduced in Auto Expo 2014. However, the launch date is still not finalized owing to certain recent events. Nevertheless, this is the most anticipated and is also considered to be the best of the lot from Hero. A 250cc engine and a 6 speed transmission is encased in this 139 kg machine and is a perfect blend of performance and looks from Hero. The pricing is expected to be around 1.5 Lakh rupees and we are waiting with bated breath to see whether it lives up to its expectations.
After the R3 earlier, it is now the time for the new MT03 from Yamaha. There will be many a similarity between the two versions. In simple words, MT03 is a much simpler version of R3 where all redundancies have been eliminated. For instance, the riding position is changed, the fairings have been ditched and the headlight is brand new. If you love naked bikes then this is just the bike you have dreamed of. Expected to be launched by year end, this best among the superbikes is expected to cost around 3 Lakhs and above.
Royal Enfield Himalayan
The name is itself a testament to the expectations and the hypes surrounding this cruiser. Being the first to be made in India, this is also touted to be the most affordable of its kind. If you are on lookout for touring the country on a bike, then this bike is your best companion. This beast, one of the highly awaited bikes of 2016 comes with a 400 cc engine and is priced at 1.55 Lakhs which is definitely in the range of the adventure bikers.
